Robert R. Lubera, Esq.

Mr. Lubera is a partner with the law firm of Lubera & Parnell, P.L.C. He practices in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate & trust administration, business planning and art law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University School of Law and his LL.M. Masters of Law in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School. Mr. Lubera is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section, Elder Law and Advocacy Section and Arts, Communication, Entertainment & Sports Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Additionally, he is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Arts, Entertainment, Media and Sports Law Community Section. Mr. Lubera serves and has served on many Boards including the Senior Services Board for St. John Providence Health System, the past Chair of the St. John Providence Health System Care Continuum Board and is the past Chair of the Ascension Southeast Michigan Hospitals Board with oversite over Ascension St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Warren Campus), Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Madison Heights Campus), Ascension Providence Hospital (Novi Campus), Ascension Providence Hospital (Southfield Campus), Ascension Genesys Hospital, Ascension River District Hospital and Ascension Brighton Center for Recovery. He currently serves as the Chair of the Regional Quality Council for the East Region with oversite over Quality at Ascension St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Warren Campus), Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Madison Heights Campus), and Ascension River District Hospital. He has served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and served as the President of the Board of Directors for The Helm (previously named Services for Older Citizens), a 501(c)(3) senior services non-profit organization. He currently serves as Chair of the Planned Giving Committee for The Helm, a Committee that assisted in formulating and implementing a planned giving program for The Helm. Mr. Lubera has served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Chair of the Collections and Exhibitions Commitee for the Detroit Historical Society that operates the Detroit Historical Museum and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum and is currently on their Advisory Committee. Mr. Lubera also served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Chair of the Board of Directors for the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce and the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Mr. Lubera also currently serves as Chair-elect of the Arts, Communication, Entertainment & Sports Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
